Yet again, it seems like Life has kept me busy and away from the blog world. I decided to clean my camera out for our upcoming vacation (more on that later) and decided to take a minute to blog in the process. This month has literally flown by ... I can't believe tomorrow is March! We had a fun month with the holidays and great weather!
We have some cute new items in our etsy shop and Seth LOVES sporting his new bow tie ... isn't he a handsome little man! His mischievous smile is contagious!
Shelby girl won't be outdone! She's getting chunky and cute, just the way we like them! I can't believe she'll be 9 months in a few days!!!

Valentine's was fun. Seth woke up with a table full of fun little things for the occasion. He had a super fun Valentine party at school and got Valentine's from all his little friends!
One of the highlights from us was his sponge bob snuggie! LOL It was hilarious and he LOVES the thing. The best part is he thought the box (showing people wearing the snuggie doing various activities) was an instruction manual. So, he wanted to wear his snuggie: eating popcorn, playing a video game, watching tv, reading a book, and sitting on the deck! LOL .... This kid takes everything so literal these days.
Shelby finally started getting some more teeth in, well one anyway. Her top right tooth came in and the other is working its way down ... which isn't the most fun thing in the world! But, as long as mom's around she is seriously the happiest little thing!
She's upgraded from the bumbo to the highchair to eat and loves sitting up there ... she thinks she's a big girl!
President's Day we headed up to the Henry Ford Museum and it was a total blast! I've heard about it and for whatever reason didn't pay much attention to it. But, we decided to head up there since my parents were in town and check it out.
IT WAS AWESOME!!! It was huge and there's no way you can see it all in one day! We totally want to head back. Especially, because Nick didn't get to join us. They have a bunch of Presidential Cars there that are really cool to see. This one FDR rode in.
This is the largest train ever built, or one of them. It was ENORMOUS and so cool ... (uncle Rod ... you need to see this!)
They had a million cool old cars, every brand and all the way back to stage coaches! The vintage cars were pretty neat ...
... especially this one! LOL, Seth asked me, "Why are we taking a picture by this ugly car mom?" This was the car that I drove in high school ... my first car! What a Beauty!
They had some old planes too with some exhibits about the old school fair days where they did ridiculously crazy stuff (in my opinion). Like whose idea was it to make horses jump off platforms into a little pool of water ... I guess that was before PETA! LOL
Seth had fun with grandma and especially grandpa all day!
These old car seat cracked me up ... I'm pretty sure the safety features in those bottom two are through the roof!
They also had an area where the had a model T in pieces and they slower (with the help of kids) put it all together. It was so cool. Seth really wanted to get in there and help. So, he got to put on one of the headlights all by himself! Future Hobby?
Seth with the Oscar Mayer Mobile! He thought it was pretty funny! This place was so cool and huge. There were old furniture, silver, clock, etc exhibits and it was totally fun for kids to run around and check out the old cars and such. They even have the chair that Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in ... check it out if you're in Detroit!
