Aaaaargh Matey!

Our friends Rock and Jen invited us to go on a family date night to this new place called Pirate Island. It's kind of like an upgraded Chucky Cheese only Pirate Themed. We had so much fun and Seth had a ball!

For starters Seth got a sweet Pirate Hat.

Then the balloon maker man came over and made Seth a parrot for his shoulder. He watched pretty intently while he was twisting the balloon around.

Seth was over having it on his shoulder though ... I guess it freaked him out. He he just played with it.

After eating some surprisingly good Pizza we headed to the arcade with
50 tokens!!!

Seth loved the wack-a-mole and now says it all over the house.

But his favorite part was grabbing the tickets that came out after playing a game. He's just stand there waiting for more tickets to come out.

Then he'd rip them out and hold them up yelling "TICKETS!!!" It was pretty cute.

And we ended up with quite a few! 275 to be exact! That's the most tickets I've ever had in my whole life. Seth was loving holding all the tickets!

Seth and Rhett showed off their "booty" from their ticket cash in. Rhett got a sweet eye patch and hook, and Seth went for the Frisbee/boomerang and some sweet pirate tattoos.

Seth was getting sick of smiling for pictures at this point ... hence this face.

You better think twice before you make this pirate angry .... he's a feisty one!
... but a cute one at that!

We really had such a fun night ...

Here are the best buds themselves!

Yeah, for Pirate play!

Saturday ... In The Park

Okay, so it wasn't Saturday, but that's how the song goes.

Anyway, Nick came home during the day one day last week and since it was a pretty nice day we took Seth to the park near our house. He had a ball! He's been dying to play outside for a while now, but it's just been too cold, windy and snowy.

Anyway, it was a much needed "family fun day"

Seth loved going down all the slides!

Our attempt at a family picture!

When we were heading back to the car Seth found a Pine Cone under a tree and thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen!

He was pretty proud of himself for finding it!

On the way home we stopped for some gas and Nick decided we needed a car wash too. It was the first time Seth has been in one since he's been old enough to know what's going on.

He thought it was so cool! He watched very intently as each thing sprayed around the car. He was very impressed!

Well, here are a couple of little video clips from our day at the park.

Thanks goodness for Spring Time ..... much needed and I can't wait until it's warm enough for flip flops and no coats!

What's been going on with us lately ...

Well, I'm the worst blogger on 2010. I've been so busy with working lately I can barely keep up with doing laundry and keeping the house clean. Anyway, I just thought I'd put some random pictures together from the last few weeks.

My parents were in town 2 weeks ago and we went to Red Robin. Seth wasn't quite having it once we were done eating and chit chatting. Nick took him out for a walk around the mall and found this little car to push him around in, he thought it was the most fun he's ever had! (Seth liked it too)

Seth also had fun at Grandma's house in Sandy. He got a hold of the Oreos!

Also, while out shopping for some party items Seth found a sweet car he had to have a ride in. You can check out his little video below.
Last weekend we were back up in Sandy for my cousin's wife's baby shower. It was fun to get to see some family members that we don't get to often. Anyway, this picture makes me laugh because Seth's little tongue is half sticking out the side of his mouth.

He looks like such a little boy here. I can't believe how big he's getting. He really looks like a toddler now!
Okay, yes, I'm a bad mother. Here are Nick and Seth smoking candy cigarettes. It was one time!!!!
We had our annual Oscar party last weekend and Nick took home the Oscar trivia award. He wins everything ...

But, alas it was Al who took home the Oscar. He guessed the most correct and scored the most points ... along with the Oscar for the second year in a row! It was a fun party and we were all excite Avatar didn't win and that Sandra pulled it home! Woooo Wooooo!

Here are just some little videos of Seth being Seth. Grandma and grandpa Larsen got him a train whistle and he couldn't quite figure it out ... he thought he had to make the actual sound himself. Check it out ...
