I'm a Big Kid Now ...

Seth decided to try on some of Nick's church clothes the other night. Nick was coming home from a meeting and Seth decided he wanted a tie (or two) and then was trying his hardest to get Nick's belt on him too!

He was pretty proud of himself too!

Apparently he's ready to be a baby model .... check out these poses!

Whatever works, I guess?! At least he knows how to have a good time! :)

Let's Celebrate!

Since Congratulations for Graduation were in order, we had a little party on Sunday for the recent graduates. Chelsea and Nick were both officially finished with school and ready to be considered college graduates!

Grandpa Larsen fell and broke his foot a few weeks ago. He's in a wheel chair around the house ... and it couldn't have been more entertaining for Seth! He was getting the biggest kick out of playing on the chair and being pushed around the house on "Rides"

While waiting for the party to get started, Seth ran around outside and had fun in the back yard ...

... with his buddy cousin Gemma! These two have the best time together ... they get each other riled up and crazy!

Here is the graduation girl with the cake!

And the graduation boy too!

GnG were the life of the party ... as always!

Haha ... just seeing this picture makes me laugh. My dad and his twin brother Al decided they wanted a picture together. After a few regular ones, Al decided they needed a real serious/mean picture. haha ... well, it turned out pretty funny!

Some of the party members.

Nick and Seth goofing around together, as usual!

Happy graduation! I'm so proud of Nick. We had a rough deal this last year, as far as school goes. But, we got it all worked out and Nick did awesome this year. He did outstanding in classes, the LSAT and worked hard for the family. It all paid off and we've got some great options for Law school because of it.

I know, I'm cheesy ... but get over it. I'm a proud wife! :)

Graduation!

First off ... look at what my child does in his spare time:

Yes, he is a little crazy with the markers. Luckily they were just crayola washable ... they come off with just a rinse of water! But still, was he serious?

My sister, Chelsea graduated last week. We went through the whole graduation deal. It was not that fun with Seth, i'll be honest. But, we survived and no one was too annoyed with us.

He was a little tired so I was crossing my fingers hoping he might take a nap during the graduation ...

... He sat like a nice boy for quite a while. But, because we had to get there so early, it was next to impossible for him to sit there for 3 hours!

He got really comfortable in a little chair bed we made with our coats. But, as soon as the applause started, it was all over! He was running around and my mom and I took turns taking him in the hallway.

There she is getting her pretend diploma. (The real one comes in the mail).

The proud parents!

Happy graduation Chelsea, and to everyone else that finished their college years last week! WOO HOO!

Next up: her wedding!

"Get - Up!"

Well, Seth has a new best friend! PRESTON!!!! He is the son of a college friend of mine and we have recently become weekly play date buddies! Why we didn't start this months ago, who knows? Anyway, the four of us have been having some fun every week together. Mostly playing outside and things like that.

The two of them are so funny together. They both get really excited about seeing each other and seriously can't wait. Then they get so happy and smiley when they finally get to see each other. The kicker is when we have to say goodbye! It's terrible, they both start crying hysterically, like the world is going to end! So tragic! Seth loves playing with Preston, so I'm not really sure how they're going to handle it when we leave next month? Sad :(

Anyway, today we headed over to Thanksgiving Point to go to the farm land. The boys had so much fun there. They got to see all the animals and even ride a little horse around. They sat watching the horses going around while us moms got our cameras out and ready!

Seth was a little hesitant at first, but once the horse started going he was all about it! He kept saying, "Get Up!" Too funny. He also had a few Yee Haaws in there too!

For whatever reason, the boys LOVED running around the little jail house together. They were screaming and chasing each other in there for quite a while!

We attempted to get a picture of them together, and this one didn't turn out too bad! Aren't they cute little buddies?

Seth was all about the horses after riding one. He tried his hardest to open that gate and get in there!

We also saw some little baby duckies! They were so much fun and it reminded me of college when we bought a baby duck. Anyway, notice that Seth was very cautious and only wanted to touch the ducks with one finger! haha

On our way out we tried our hardest to get a cute picture of the two of them together on this fun bench. Although, we ended up with some cute ones, none really of their faces...

... boys will be boys I guess!

Seth and Preston and BFF's and it's pretty cute. What's better than good fun, good weather, and good friends?

Crazy McGee ...

Well, our life is a little crazy right now. We're trying to decide on where to go for law school next year and figure it out soon. We have to be out of our current home at the end of May. It may seem like enough time, but smashed in there is a 10 day trip home to Kansas for my sister's wedding! I know ... we are crazy.

Anyway, life is stressing me out. I realized that it's a good thing I have this little guy around to keep me laughing. I wanted to share some of his happenings over the past week so you too, can get a kick out of this kid.

His new favorite game is to pretend like he wants to draw. I get him all situated and he "colors" until I get doing something else and then he colors all over his high chair. Lovely! But, you can tell that he thinks it's pretty funny.

He also last weekend on a road trip home from Salt Lake, decided to draw with both pen and highlighter all over his right arm. It seriously looked like a tattoo sleeve! Super funny ... but I forgot to snap a picture.

Last night was very eventful. I made some delicious fish tacos for dinner. I gave Seth a plate full of food and just put some pieces of tilapia on his plate. He took one bite, spit out his fish and said "Disgusting!" What a well-mannered child right?

Lastly, Seth decided last night it was fun to spin around and around making himself dizzy. I'm talking he did this for probably 20 minutes. He was all over the place, falling, running to couch, you name it. he was in long sleeved/long pants pajamas and was getting so sweaty with rosy cheeks. So, I took his pajamas off thinking I'd just get some cooler ones for him. Well, before we knew it, off came the diaper and Seth was peeing all over the carpet. Yes, it was the funniest thing ever!

So, I guess even though I'm about to rip my hair out with stress and anxiety, at least I have a little dude, who when he's not driving me nuts, he's pretty cute!

I'll let everyone know when we finally make a decision of some sort! Hope you're all enjoying the fun spring weather across the country ... it's been much needed in our part!

Hippity Hoppity

Easter Weekend Turned out to be pretty fun. Its' one of my favorite "Kid" holidays. Seth had so much fun running around and finding all the eggs. We could only do our Easter Egg hunt inside because we woke up to 5 inches of snow! It looked like Christmas, not Easter morning! Blah .... But, anyway that's another tangent I guess.

The Easter Bunny did make a stop by our house this year.
Check out Seth's sweet Easter basket ...

My mom thinks it's not very "Eastery" but whatever, it's pretty cute and Seth is really into Cars right now.

Seth sat at the top of the stairs and waited for me to give him the okay to come down and start hunting. He said "Happy Eat-stor" it was seriously the cutest thing.

Dad joined Seth in the wait too! Can you tell who is more excited about eating candy and chocolate all day? Me neither?

As soon as Seth was down the stairs he started finding the eggs. It was pretty cute. He ran over to his basket but got side tracked right off the bat by a pink Easter egg on the couch.

Then he wanted to open each egg before moving on to the next. So, it was a lovely mess all day with jelly beans and chocolates all over the house!

Seth got so excited after finding all his treasures in the eggs. These have turned out to be the favorite (next to chocolate of course) they are cute little individually wrapped gummy bunnies.

That Easter Bunny is so nice, he even brought a basket for Daddy! What a lucky guy :)

I'm not even joking Seth sat in this swing we got him all throughout the day just chillin' eating chocolate. And I'm not talking some M&M's or something. He's find whole Reses, Cadberry eggs ... This kid doesn't mess around. Especially when mom and dad aren't looking!

Wow! the Easter Bunny even brought a little something for Mom. Yes, I know you're all thinking how "lovely" I look in the morning!

These are some of the Easter Eggs we colored on Saturday. Seth thought it was so much fun! Definitely a hit for us!

The Easter Bunny brought Seth a little digital camera and he couldn't be more happy about it. He's always trying to get into my cameras and now he goes around the house all day taking pictures. Most of them end up being of his hand because you'll notice he covers up the lens ... but whatever keeps him happy is fine with me.

The best part is, after he takes a pictures he says, "NICE!" very intently. I have no idea where he came up with that but it's so so funny!

Here is a little video of Seth saying Happy Easter and getting ready to head downstairs to see if the Easter Bunny came.

I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter with friends and family. Ours was a lot of fun!

I've Got the World on a String, I'm Sittin' on a Rainbow ...

Since November when we bought these tickets, I've been super excited to go see
MICHAEL BUBLE!!!

I've seen him in concert before, in Kansas City, and he is AMAZING! Seriously, even more fantastic LIVE than on his albums.

Anyway, I had such a fun time. I never get to go by myself so it was a lot of fun. Me and Chelsea were pretty excited and ready to go. Before I left I went to give Seth a hug and it was so funny ... he said , "have fun!" hilarious!

Here we are on the red carpet with Michael .... we were obviously his dates!

Oh yeah ...

Check out the creepy dude in the background .... haha!

We got there pretty early, which turned out to be good because we got settles, ate some nasty event food and got a chance to people watch for a while.
(One of my personal favorite past times)

We also got some sweet MB SWAG .... HOT

While people watching we ate two entire things of cotton candy ... those huge bags with three bundles in them .... yes, we were serious!

Getting closer ...

Naturally 7 opened for Michael. We thought they'd be lame and annoying, but they were seriously awesome. They're A Capella, but not like you'd think ... they make themselves sound like instruments ... so crazy! They were the best opening act I've ever seen.

Yay! Michael Buble ..... You can check out his entrance on one of my videos below.

So much fun!

We were dancing and singing the whole time .... seriously such a fun party!

Check out the videos below if you want a glimpse of what you missed. Please excuse the rude people who can't get in their seats before the show starts, my concert singing and the video quality. I just took my little digital camera so the video isn't the best quality!

ENJOY -- I know you wish you were there!

Super fun ... it was great to get out of the house and do something just for myself. Do I sound like a selfish mom saying that? Whatever .... It was such a fun night!
