My New Toy

So, Grandma Denzer got me the greatest toy ever for Christmas! I was allowed to open it early and have been trying to play around with it! Check out my random pictures form the last few days ...

Seth opened a Thomas the train from GnG Larsen. He opened it up and said "WOW!" Christmas is going to be fun this year.

One of the first shots I took after opening the camera from the Fed Ex lady. Seth and Daddy were just cuddling in bed together!

Well, I'm going to start having so much fun with this new camera. It's going to take me a while to really get the hang of it, but it's going to be a fun new hobby for me! Wish me luck.

See You In Two Years ,,,

Well, we did it! It was pretty hard, I'm not going to lie. We're all still emotional and tend to break out in random tears speratically one-by-one throughout the day. But, I have a feeling from here on out we're going to be better. How can you not be emotional? Two years is a long time. However, we're so proud of him and are anticipating his first letter/email to see how things are going.

Here is Seth giving Tio Taylor a big hug. This is the hardest part for me. Seth just started saying "Tay" and gets so excited to see him and play together. I know they'll be able to pick it back up in two years, it's just one of the heart wrenching parts for me.

Best buds!

Chelsea and Taylor
Me and Taylor

The proud parents with Elder Wofford himself.

The whole gang!

Taylor looks kind of scary in this pictures, but I just wanted to show how cute they are together playing around! :)

Here we are just after saying our first round of goodbyes. Luckily I pulled out my sunglasses!

Here it is. The last picture before he left. We dropped him off and some other missionaries helped him with his bags and he took the awkward walk into the MTC. (Missionary Training Center for those of you who don't know)

It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Maybe even the hardest? But, at the same time I couldn't be more proud. He's going to change so many people's lives for the better.

Here is just a little video of Seth and Taylor playing around right before we drove him to the MTC. Their last play session for a while.

We miss you and Love you Taylor!

We'll Miss You Tio Taylor

Wish us luck and more than that, please send thoughts and prayers our way. We're sending Taylor off in a few hours and it's going to hard. Simple as that. He'll be missed so much, but he'll be doing such a great service to the people in Mexico City. We love you Taylor!

What's Happenin'

Well, we've been snowed in and I've been working too much so I haven't been posting too much. We got a ton of snow followed by bitter cold and then more snow. So, we've been staying in the house to keep warm and drink hot chocolate. Seth played out in the snow a little the other day and had fun with Nick.
He had to try a bite, of course!

He thought it was pretty hilarious to throw and get hit by snow balls! What a cute kid!

Well, Seth's favorite thing to do is run around after his bath before I can get him dressed. The other day he sat in front of this little crib entertainer and was cracking me up. Check out the video below and you can see what his favorite song is. He sings it all day, every time we're in the car, you name it! :)

Also, here is just a few little videos that I found on my camera that Nick must have taken at some point. It's just Seth being his usual crazy self! So, get a kick out of it if you need a laugh!

Hope everyone is getting ready for Christmas! I know we are around here, but first we have to send Taylor off. They come in this after noon and we say goodbye on Wednesday. Wish us luck!

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

Well, we woke up this morning to this ...
... And it's still snowing! It's supposed to keep snowing pretty much all day today and possibly tomorrow too!

Seth thought it was pretty funny. We had to drive Nick to school this morning and the whole way there Seth was saying, "WOW!" in a cute little whisper. He thought the snow was so cool. We bundled him up pretty good so he wouldn't freeze on the trip to campus.

He thought it was so much fun to be bundled up with his coat, hat and mittens!

Oh, if life were still this simple ... right?

Thanksgiving Lumber Jacks

Well, Thanksgiving was great. We all ate WAY too much food and enjoyed the weekend together as a family. One thing I like about holidays is having everyone do a little something and together you have a great meal. Nick decided to be creative with his pie making skills this year and came up with a cherry pie looking like this.

Irony: a red cherry pie with a Cougar Y on it. I think there's a joke there involving the game, but I can't come up with it at the moment. (like the kid on community last night... haha! I hope at least one person who reads this watches that show).

I went a little more traditional with a Paula Dean Apple Pie. It was yummy! :)

Saturday morning we all headed out to "The Herd" aka my dad's property. We decided it would be fun to shop down our own Christmas tree this year. Before heading up the mountain Seth made friends with our future dinner.

We rode around on the 4-wheelers and eventually took three of them up the mountain and found a Christmas tree. Seth was such a crack up ... he LOVED the 4-wheelers and would be so mad at us when we took him off. He kept wanting to drive around with us. He had a blast out there! He is such a boy!

All "the kids" took the 4-wheelers up in search of the perfect tree and Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Al, and Seth stayed down and built a fire. Apparently, Seth thought this was amazing and kept looking around for sticks to bring to Grandpa and Alan to put in the fire. He had a blast out there!

Maybe I should submit this picture to "Awkward Family Photos" haha .... it's funny!

When we came back from finding the tree, Seth started crying immediately when he saw me. At first I thought it was because he was mad we left him (which he does frequently) but, then we realized he was mad that he didn't get to go on the 4-wheeler. We set him on it and from that point on was happy as a lark.

Nick, Taylor and Carly headed of the the BYU v. Utah game while the rest of us parted ways. Grandma, Grandpa, Alan, Seth and I headed back to my place to set up the tree. Seth was a big help and wanted to use tools just like the big boys!

Well, here is the tree with lights, and star and our home made popcorn-cranberry garland. I think it turned out looking pretty good.

I didn't know if I was going to like it because it's not what I'm used to. But, because it's not so bushy, you can actually see the ornaments hanging and I think it looks really pretty! Here it is as good as I could get with the lights off and everything.

Christmas is fun and I've been having a ball Decking the Halls this year. Since we have a lot more room than we have since we got married I guess I feel like I can actually do some fun things as far as decorating goes. I want to do some fun crafty things but don't have any good ideas? Any thoughts?

Hope everyone had a fun Thanksgiving and got to spend time with loved ones!

It's A Party In The USA

Like I said in my earlier post, my brother, Taylor, came and stayed with us for a week before my parents came out for Thanksgiving. We had a really fun time hanging out with him and just chillin' together. Seth had a fun time playing with Taylor and was sad to see him go back home. We're all getting a little emotional about him leaving so soon, but we're excited for him to get to be a missionary for our church and have fun teaching people in Mexico the gospel.

One day we went out to the Pizza Factory for lunch. the three Wofford-lets and Seth! Here is Chelsea, Taylor and Seth getting ready for Pizza and those yummy bread sticks!
Me and Seth!

Seth decided the bread stick skewers were great toys and was being crazy with it the whole time we were eating.

... some how we all left with all of our eyeballs intact.

Later in the week BYU played Air Force and since we have an awesome view from our back deck, we watched the fly over from there ... It was pretty sweet!

We also made a trip to this taco restaurant, that is apparently pretty authentic. While there we noticed a mustache vending machine. We decided to go ahead and indulge and posed for a photo shoot when we got home.

Here is Senor Seth ...

Here are the rest of us ... some how I got the short end of the stick and it looks more like a gross band aid on my face or something?

... good times with Tio Taylor.

Senor Nick and son!

We had a fun time doing a few things with Taylor last week and am glad it worked out for him to come spend some extra time with us. It just started to dawn on me yesterday that he will be leaving in only two weeks! I think because it's all coming at the same time with the holidays it makes it that much harder. If it were summer or really any other time of the year I don't think I'd be as emotional about it as I am. But, so be it.

My family is VERY close. We pretty much tell each other everything and are all up in each other's business all the time. (be it good or bad?) So, Taylor will be missed for a while. I know he's doing a great thing and will be a fantastic missionary, it's just I really suck at goodbyes ... even if it's just for a little while.

Christmas is going to be weird this year.
us Denzer's are staying in Utah, Taylor will be gone and only my sister gets to go be with my parents this year. Bummer ... my family is pretty hard-core about Christmas! It will be sad not to be there, but I know it's going to be a fun time to celebrate with just my family!

I know I'm rambling on now, I guess I'm just trying to let some of these emotions out. Kind of EMO of me, I know. Oh, well ... I've just never really done this before so it's kind of a weird bunch of feelings to be going through at the same time.
