Fun, Fun Saturday

Saturday was a fun day. We had just gotten back in town Friday night, and since starting on Monday we knew we were going to be packing and going crazy, we thought we'd have a fun day together. We went over to the BYU Baseball game (possibly our last BYU sporting event in Utah). We met up with Nick's old BFF/roommate "Parry" and his family.

Seth thought the game was fun, until at one point there was a crazy play and everyone started cheering and I guess he got freaked out ... he was a little alarmed!

Here is their daughter Cami ... such a cute! Maybe they can get together in about 20 years! :)
Nick, Seth, Cosmo, Cami and Parry ... what a gang!

Then we headed home for Nick to change and we were off again for his soccer game in the afternoon. Seth LOVED LOVED LOVED it! He was playing all over the play ground and loving being outside for a change! (We seem to bring the bad weather with us wherever we go!)

Nick checking out the game ...

The Sideline ...

Seth took over some other kids chair and was in LOVE ... I guess we know what he's getting for his birthday! :)

He was playing all over the play ground and was pretty much the only kid there for a while, he was in heaven! He kept wanting to show me everything on the playground. This picture is mid "MOM!!!"

A sweet shot by Nick ...

A header Nick got in there too ...

There are the boys!

Well, it was fun to be home and back to our "normal" routine for a few days. We are currently packing, making arraignments, trying to sign a contract in Toledo and whatever else! I'm stressing myself out so much everyday I end up with a midday until bed time Migraine headache ... awesome! Hopefully, we'll be able to pull it all together and get out of here next weekend!

Wish me luck!

Navuoo round 2

Well, We were all back in Nauvoo last week for Chelsea's wedding. I'm not going to lie it was probably one of the craziest weeks on my life. But, everyone survived and we had a good time. I wasn't able to take any pictures of the wedding party and all, but you can check them out on the photographer web site here: http://mlineback2.photobiz.com Just click on Client images and then Chelsea to check them out.

Once we made it to Nauvoo we toured a few of the shops and things in town. Seth was so ready to be out of the car and I couldn't stand making him sit and listen to a lady talking, so I let him run around the back yard of the old bakery. He was in LOVE.

The nice ladies inside gave him a few cookies too keep him occupied. He was all about them!

Nick and Seth. Don't worry because Seth has started calling Nick, "NICK" or "Nick-los" it's pretty hilarious. No more daddy!

Seth had a ball running down the empty streets of Nauvoo.

Here's the post Office, where Seth wrote a "letter" and mailed it.

No trip to Nauvoo is complete with out visiting the fudge shop in town. So, we did our fare share in there! :)

Here's the Nauvoo temple. Nick and I took a walk around for a while together, just us. It was nice to come back where we were married and think about all we've been through since then. (cheese, I know!)

But, isn't it beautiful?

It was such a perfect day the day before the wedding!

WE attempted to take a picture of ourselves with temple in the background ...

Then this random dude offered to take our picture. He got down on his knees and everything so he could "get the temple in the picture." Is he serious about this crappy picture? And he touched his finger on my camera lens so it really made me mad! Oh, well .... I guess I survived!

I just had to put this on so other people could agree at how ridiculous this picture was?

Nick tried his luck at the camera too ...

Well, I realize there are only pictures of our family here. We had so much fun with cousin Aubrey and friend Stephanie. Thanks to everyone for helping us out with Seth ... he was a bit crazy at times, but what else is new?

Congrats to the newlyweds ... see you soon!

Holy Toledo!!!!

Well, we finally know where we're headed! We're off to Toledo, Ohio! And yes, we're moving there in two weeks! AAAAAhhhhhh ..... pray that I can keep my sanity!

Anyway, we had several great options for law schools and finally made the tough decision and we both feel fantastic about it! Nick was offered a full ride scholarship to Toledo and we decided we just couldn't pass that up. So, we're off!

On Nick's last day of work, Seth and I headed in to surprise Nick with some treats and a little party with his work peeps. Here are the yummy cupcakes I made.

Where is Toledo? Well, it's way up there ... almost in Michigan, pretty close to Canada. We're close to, I think 7, major league baseball teams (or that's what Nick tells me) so, if anyone wants to come visit we'd love to see someone we know!!!

Anyway, there are still some logistics to work out, but overall, we're getting there and we're super excited about our upcoming move!

See you in Toledo!
