I finally got a haircut! My hair was so long and out of control it just needed to happen. I got about 7 inches cut off and, i know it's still long, but when you're hair is that length you have to take baby steps or it's too drastic! But, I feel like i lost 10 lbs now with all that hair gone. The pictures are ridiculous, but you get the idea.
Before ...
After ...
Okay so, we were watching TV last Sunday and Nick flipped through the Spanish channel and all of a sudden Seth turned his head and started really watching the crazy show that was on. He just stared at the TV like he knew what they were talking about ... it was so funny; Nick had to snap this picture ... I guess Seth knows where his roots are!
Here he's just chillin on the couch like a big boy! :)
Daddy and pookie taking a little nap together.
I just can't believe how big he's getting. I keep thinking he's huge until I saw a 4 week old about twice his size yesterday. I realized that he's going to be a runt for a while since he was so tiny to begin with ... but really he's getting so big!
We were trying on shoes yeseterday to see if any of them fit him yet. A few did....but not the cute little flip flops. Anyway, after putting the shoes on it triggered the sunglasses and we all got a good laugh in. He was stylin'
Mommy and Seth ... my cute little pookie!
So, when I started this blog post about an hour ago this was Seth, asleep in mommy and daddy's bed. In the middle he woke up and wanted me to hold him! So, this post has been a work in progress ... finally we made it.

A Month Has Flown By Already!
Two days ago marked one month since Seth came into the world. I seriously can't believe that's its been a whole month already! It's definitely been an EXPERIENCE to say the least. A little tough some days, but so worth it to have a little guy who just loves you unconditionally no matter what you do, or what you look like! :)
Since a month has gone by I finally am starting to feel recovered and getting back to "normal" whatever that is; and am starting to get the hang of the whole mom thing. I just have to face the facts that somedays a shower, makeup and a nice outfit are NOT going to happen.
He's already grown so much and is starting to get chunky little legs and cheeks ... it's so much fun. He's almost ready to move into a whole new 0-3 month wardrobe and out of the newborn clothes. Probably another week or so!
Here's Seth doing some more tummy time ... which he's starting to really enjoy! :)
I think he's going through a growth spurt because he's been starving all the time, eating so much and then sleeping a ton, the last few days. So, he had just eaten and you can kind of see his little beer belly almost hanging over his diaper. It was hard to get it in the picture, but Nick and I got a kick out of it.
Here's pookie cuddling up with a blanket about to take an afternoon nap (that mom really needed him to take!)
Okay so this past weekend Nick got hit in the face with a soccer ball at his game. There were some intense happenings at the game (if only I was there to see it all go down) Anyway Nick ended up with a huge swollen nose, you can kind of see it in this picture. He looked like he was Jewish on Sunday. It's since gone down, but made us laugh.
Anyway, he went to the dr. and apparently has a concussion and is not supposed to do much physical contact activity for the next few weeks. He has a white spot in his eye that he can't see out of and won't go away. Hopefully, it clears up along with his crazy headaches. So that is the update in our crazy lives! :)

Changes, Changes
Well, tomorrow Seth will be 4 weeks old. I seriously can't believe it. It seems like he just arrived; and at the same time like he's been with us forever. Isn't it crazy how that works? Anyway, he's already changed so much. He's starting to get bigger and a little more chubby ... he's just so cute I can hardly keep from kissing and snuggling him all the time. Someday soon he's going to say, "Mom, get off of me!"
Anyway, here are some of the latest pictures of little Seth. He's starting to be a pretty good sleeper at night. He only gets up once; usually after 5 hours or so to eat, and then generally goes back to bed pretty well. However, I'm still not used to have to get up for an hour to feed him and I usually can't make myself fall asleep after nursing him. So, I guess we still have some work to do in the sleep department.
Here's little Seth having some "tummy time", learning to use his muscles and hold his head up.
Here is Seth with a sweet hair do ... it's kind of funny because he just loves getting his hair brushed!
So, we watched the opening ceremonies last Friday and the next morning we woke up and Seth was sleeping like this ... he must have gotten some ideas from the Tai Chi moves those crazy Chinese were doing!
We finally had our first at home bath the other day! His umbilical cord took a while to fall off so we had to do sponge baths for a while. But, pookie liked the bath ... until he had to get out and was freezing cold!
Mommy and Seth getting a snapshot in for dad! :)
What can I say he is going to be a heart breaker that's for sure!
Here's Seth cuddling with Dad and his teddy bear that aunt Chelsea gave him in the hospital. :)
A friend of ours is leaving on his mission this week and we went to his farewell on Sunday. I tried to put Seth in a cute little "church" outfit, but it was WAY too big for him. But, at least he looked super cute!
I love this picture. I didn't quite grab the camera in time, but he was snuggling his bear and had the biggest smile on too!
Here's Daddy reading Seth the "No more monkeys jumping on the bed book!" What a good little papa!
Yesterday Seth had fun with great grandma and grandpa Larsen. Grandpa was telling Seth all kinds of stories and singing him songs ... he had fun with Grandpa :)
Well, changes are inevitable I guess. It's so much fun to watch him get bigger and have more personality. He's staring to smile a lot more now and recognize voices, people and he definately loves mommy! :)

More Picture for the Grandma's
So, I finally got around to getting more picture up of Seth. I kept saying I was going to put up more pictures, but found it hard to do since i'm always holding the little guy! Anyway, he's taking a much needed afternoon nap so I had a chance to put some more pictures up.
I'm so tired lately that I can barely function...does it ever get better? I have dreams of sleeping ... no joke! :)
Here's my little handsome man. His hair is so out of control that we had to get some brushes and combs so we could make it look a little more presentable!
Daddy reading him a book ... seth loved this! Look at his eyes and how interested he is!
My little rock and roll Mohawk child!
Just chillin' in bed with mom and dad.
I keep trying to get a picture of his cute little smile, but it always turns out looking crazy like this one ... it's like halfway through the smile or something. But, seth looks like a little old man in this picture.
I don't know what was going on in this picture, but Seth looks scared to death and it makes me laugh!
Well, there are the latest and greatest. We went to the dr. on Monday and Seth is growing soo fast! He's already 7 lbs 5 ounces. That's more than a pound in two weeks he's gained. Anyway, he's still only in the 12th percentile so he's still a little guy. But he's already changed so much and keeps getting bigger and more grown up everyday!
He had to get his foot pricked and squeezes for like 5 minutes at the dr. I had to hold him while he was screaming bloody murder and looking at me like, " mom, what are you letting them do to me?" It was terrible and i've decided nick gets to hold him for the shots next time! I felt like such a cliche mom, because I was literaly holding back tears! I'm pathetic I guess
