Happy Easter!

My family was in town for Taylor's Spring Break and they decided to stay for easter. It was great to have everyone together ... things are always crazy when all the Wofford's are together!

We dyed Easter Eggs at Grandma's house with everyone. It was fun to play "kid time" again and get creative with out egg decorations! Dad was banished after making his Easter Eggs too religious with inspirational messages on them; after all this was the commercialized part of Easter not the religious.
I don't know if you can tell, but Nick decided to make a political statement with his Easter Egg. "Obama '08" He was pretty proud of it ... as you can tell! :)

Nick worked pretty hard on all of his Easter Egg Creations. We all goofed off and had a good time laughing.

Nick decided to be the photographer for a little bit and wanted to get creative. He was pretty proud of this as well as a few other pictures! :)

I got a little romantic (haha) and decided to make a Love Easter Egg for Nick. I'm ridiculous basically! :)

And here is my domestic husband washing dishes after Easter dinner Sunday night at Grandma's house. What a trooper ... and check out those sexy gloves! :)

So, our Easter wasn't anything too crazy, but it was a lot of fun to be with my family. It is crazy to think that next year we'll have a little boy with us for Easter ... and he'll be ours! I think holidays are more fun with little kids anyway ... then nick won't have to participate in little kid activities for just my sake alone!

Disney on Ice

Nick took me to see Disney on Ice at the Energy Solutions Arena last weekend. It was so much fun! I transported back to my ten year old self and was in love!

All the little girls were dressed up in their little princess dresses and it was just so cute! Nick and I had so much fun watching all the little kids get so excited (not in a weird way!)

Anyway, the Little Mermaid turned out to be the main event! I was so excited and yes i waved at Ariel and Flounder :) I seriously acted like a little girl. We actually had pretty good seats too ... so it was a blast.

Nick wouldn't let me get a light up wand even though everyone else had one but me!!! :(

I did get pink cotton candy and it came with this sweet crown with mickey mouse ears on it! So, I guess it was okay.

It was fun to get out and act like a kid and see all the cute kids living in their dream world! (and mine too!) Yes, I am somehow a 10 year old living in a pregnant married ladies' body! :)

The Belly is Beginning ...

So, here is my 22 week belly. It's kind of crazy and i honestly think this picture is scary looking at it. But, yes it has begun. I really didn't feel like i was showing for a while and now i'm beginning to. I still just feel fat and that people who don't know me just look at me and think, so is she getting fat or what? However, I hear that that is just one of the many AMAZING experience one partakes in during 9 months of blissful pregnancy. (no sarcasm what-so-ever there!)

Anyway, I just officially started wearing my maternity clothes and it's just weird to get used to. But, at least now days there are some more options out there and you can at least not feel like you have to wear a mu mu all the time :)

So, I'm over half way there and it's scaring me to death that I'm going to be a mom in just a few months! There's really no backing out now ... so i'll keep everyone posted!

Barefoot and Pregnant

So Nick thought it was funny that I was" barefoot and pregnant" cooking in the kitchen after church a few weeks ago. I felt like such a typical BYU young newlywed expecting their first baby! haha .... I so never saw myself in this position! In fact, I will admit that I used to crack jokes about people that did do this. Now, here I am; even though this baby was anything but planned it's just ironic! So here I am fitting the Mormon mold! :)

25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Nick and I had an eventful weekend! First we had our film debut; Chelsea was making a film as part of the application process for the BYU Film program. We were the main characters and did some quality acting!!!! It was funny and maybe she'll let us post in on here when she finishes, so you can laugh at it! :)

Anyway, later that evening we went to Salt Lake for a hot date. We had dinner at my favorite restaurant in Salt Lake - Z' Tejas - at the Gateway.

Then we went to see the show Spelling Bee. It was super funny and we both had to control ourselves from laughing embarrassingly too much at times. But, it was a really great night and so much fun to just get out and do something that we usually don't get a chance to. Chelsea actually gave us the tickets for Christmas this year, so we were excited to get to finally see the show!
Nick's favorite character has a "major foot" that helps him spell the words right! You have to see it to think it's funny, but nick has been practicing his magic foot dance! haha ... We had a great time!
