We LOVE the fall here in Ohio! There are so many fun things to do and always something fun going on. Apple Orchards, Pumpkin Patches, Fall Festivals, Farmers Markets, you name it. The weather this year so far has been so nice too! Perfect for all the outdoor fun. Shelby is very active now that she's walking all over the place. She keeps us smiling because she already knows how to work it and get just what she wants. But, how do you say no to that little smile?
We got a chance to go play at a pumpkin patch with some church friends and the kids had a blast on the hay bails.
Seth, and the rest of the boys also easily gravitated to the train and climbed all over it.
We also went to the MacQueens Apple Butter festival and ate delicious apple cider donuts and apple cider. We went with a bunch of church friends and although, it was a bit chilly, we had a fun time.
Shelby didn't complain a bit, once she got her hands on donuts and cider that was all she needed to know.
After we all ate an undisclosed amount of these AMAZING donuts, we walked around and admittedly had to leave early do to a nervous break down on behalf of my first born. Gotta love preschoolers and their outbursts! It was fun while it lasted.
Seth got to go on a field trip for school to Gust Brothers Pumpkin Farm. His little friend Madalynn was his buddy and all the kids had so much fun.
Farmer Mr. Gust told all the kids about all the hard work the farmers have to do on the farm. They all listened close and were excited to help out the farmers that day.
They got to feed the pigs...
They even saw a HUGE mom pig with itty bitty little ones. At this point Seth informed me that I was bigger than that HUGE mom pig! I'd like to think I don't appear to weigh upwards of 300 pounds to the untrained eye! haha ... if you want the truth just ask a 4 year old, they'll always give it to you strait.
We also ran into our friend Jacob, from church, while we were there.
They had some massive pumpkins ...
Some even bigger than Seth!
Seth got to take home a little pumpkin and was careful to pick just the right one.
When we got home, he turned his pumpkin into vampire mickey with some fun Halloween things Grandma Chris sent him last year.
Fall is so much fun around here and since we aren't sure if we'll be here next year or not, we're enjoying every bit of it and taking it all in.
