Okay, so I've been stressing out over the fact that baby Denzer could arrive at any time now! So, the past few weeks I've been ordering a million things online, tracking packages like I work for Fed Ex and frantically trying to get things set up and such when I have days off of work.
Now that I only have 4 more days of work (two this week and two next week) I've calmed down because I can see the light at the end of the tunnel as far as my job goes. Anyway, people have been asking to see pictures of the nursery and although it's not 100% finished here is what we've got. Obviously this is the crib and crib set ... I'm really happy with it. We only saw it online because it's been sold out everywhere!
I've also had a random itch to be crafty in the babies room too! So, here are a few projects that I've been working on. I decorated a bulletin board so we can eventually put pictures and things on it.
I also painted a few picture frames in the matching colors. I had a few cards from showers and things that were just so cute that I thought they'd make cute pictures for the walls. That way for now they are way cute, and later on I can put baby pictures or other pictures in them.

And this is the changing table. It will eventually have a changing pad cover and diaper holder that match the "pop star" crib set. Since they've been out of stock of everything in the whole set they are hard to track down. My mom found the remaining items though (those two and a lamp and a few other accessories) in Kansas; so, she's going to be bringing them out in a few weeks when she comes for baby time! :)
I also painted the star hooks above the changing table too. Who knows why I one day decided to be crafty ... but it was fun at least. I'm also working on one last project that is the trendy "hanging wall letters" with our babies top secret name. His name will be spelled out over the crib eventually. I'm probably going to finish them up next week and then we'll wait until he comes home to put them up because I'm really adamant about keeping his name a secret. I just think there should be some type of surprise for everyone.
Anyway, sorry this post is really long with boring explanations ... but tell me what you think. I will admit that once I actually started setting up the baby room everything became so real to me. Now when Nick and I see the crib and other baby things in the nursery we just think "oh my gosh ... this is really happening!" But, we can't wait to meet baby Denzer!

First off, I love that you are keeping the name top secret! Secondly, you have done a marvelous job with his room--it seriously looks FANTASTIC! I am jealous. Well, Laura is probably the jealous one since her room is not decorated one bit.
Nice work! I love decorating for the baby. I have changed all of it except for the crib 2 times. Each one should have their own bedding right? That's my philosophy anyway. It looks great! How much longer do you have? What names do you guys think you'll go with?
WAY CUTE Sarah!! I wish we would have kept Caleb's name secret. We would tell people his whole name and they would try and change our minds!!! Oh well. I'm keeping my mouth shut for the next pregnancy! Good luck with the delivery! I hope everythink goes smoothly and FAST! (But slow enough to be able to get an epideral!!!) :)
I love your crafts, they are so cute! Also, the bedding set you picked out is adorable! Can't wait to see the little cutie...and know his name!
Sarah- I'm glad you found me. I love to read blogs from old friends. You've got a great blog here and I'm sure your parents love it as well. The baby's room looks great. You are very creative. Congratulations on your soon to be born baby! Scott has a blog as well. He'd love to hear from you too. henrythefrog.blogspot.com
That looks so cute! We're so excited for baby Denzer to come, but so sad we won't be here for him to get to his funny todler stages! Have him before the 10th please!
Okay, so I know I already left a comment, but thanks so much for your help moving. Tim said you both helped a ton!
