Easter Weekend Part 2: Nick's Lacrosse Game

Saturday was a crazy day. Between getting the house cleaned up for Easter, Baking and Cooking for Easter, not feeling well, and keeping Seth occupied we barely made it to Nick's Lacrosse game. It was the last one of the season and was here at the football stadium at University of Toledo. The weather was actually nice for ONCE and we had a fun time at the game. Seth thought it was pretty cool to see Daddy in his gear playing Lacrosse.

Seth was occupied for a while with crawling across the bleachers counting along with the seat numbers ... don't you wish life was that easy sometimes?

They played Michigan which are the MCLA (their division) champs for 3 years in a row and just the day before the game announced that they will be moving up to division one next year. So, yeah they lost. But, they held their own for a quarter or two and it was fun to be there and support the team. Nick is number 25 in white, so you can check him out in a few shots.

Seth had pretty much the whole stadium to run around and have a ball. I was chasing him all over the place ... it was fun for a few minutes before getting old. Would you believe me if I told you he even made it down on the field a time or two?...not SETH?!

Nick's in the middle of the picture here in a sweet action shot ... this may have been his last play of the game. He shot in knee out! He's seeing a sports dr. tomorrow to determine if he tore his ACL ... yes, perfect timing during finals! More on that soon.

Eventually, the running around wore out this little guy and he ended up laying down on my lap and the bleacher for the last few minutes of the first half. We headed home shortly after. But Seth had a ball cheering and clapping with everyone. "Go ROCKETS, Go DADDY, and YEAH TOLEDO!" where his go to cheers!

It was a fun night and a busy day. We were ready to get home and get in bed ... after all the Easter Bunny would be coming the next day! :)

- Next up, Easter Sunday -

Darn injuries. That's so cool that Nick is playing lacrosse. Seth looks like he was having a grand time! But chasing him up and down those stairs pregnant would have been more than I could handle. You're a great wife!
