Once we finally made it to Kansas, we were so excited to do some of our favorite things! Seth can't hardly wait to get to Krispy Kreme whenever we are there, so we headed over one of the first mornings we were in town. Shelby got a hat this time around and LOVED the doughnuts! I mean who doesn't, right?
My Kiddos + Doughnuts = happiness!
Nothing better than checking out the doughnuts being made while munching on one right off the line!
Then we headed over to DeAnna Rose Farmstead! It's gotten to be so much fun over that last few years. Some of the oldies from when I was a kid are still big crowd pleasers with Seth, but it's so much fun! We love it!
I think Seth could have stayed there all day pumping water!
After our hey ride we checked out the horses and Shelby was all about it!
Speaking of Shelby girl, she started making her way up the stairs at grandma's house and we had to keep our eye on her. Once she realized no one was watching she'd dart to the stairs and make her way up as fast as a rocket!
We were so excited to be in Kansas for the 4th of July. That's my favorite holiday because our neighborhood family makes it so much fun! We were getting ready the few days before, and Shelby even had a cute red, white, and blue dress to wear to church on Sunday.
Shelby and grandpa started palling around and she loved it!
Seth, Chelsea, and I borrowed a small trike for Seth to ride in the parade and we had to get it all decked out and ready to go! Seth was pretty excited.
The trike was pretty small, but it worked out great so that he could ride in the parade. Maybe someday we'll get his actual bike there for the big day!
Well, 4th of July was a blast ... can't wait to get all the fun pictures up from the great day!
